Literature can be described as works of art with some sort of moral, message, or meaning behind or attached to the writing. "American" does not necessarily mean the author or story has to be 100% established and created in America. As long as the idea is approved and adopted into our society, it becomes American. As long as you put your ideas into words and share them with people, you contribute to literature in general which is more than well.

“Luctor Et Emergo” Our own ideas and philosophies make us intellectuals. By being mindful and curious, we expand ourselves as an individual even if we don’t realize. Everything we do can be a learning experience. Our thoughts are not the subject being graded rather the general idea of us forming thoughts and trusting in them with confidence. All of our preferences make us unique and as long as it’s not joy in homicide or related topics, our uniqueness is derived from our choices and likes/ dislikes. We are who we are because of what we choose to choose to be.

     Imagine what it would be like to be arrested for being different. Performing actions in which can set off others and cause them to be suspicious and possibly even more observant over you and what you do. In the short story, The Pedestrian , a man is arrested for walking. This may spark curiosity in some people and cause them to think, “What did he do?” or “How did he provoke them?” However, all he did was walk. Who knew that being amble was a criminal act. Technology took over the world so it was expected people drove where they needed to go or just stay home and watch their television.             Bradbury knew the importance of living life through your own eyes without a screen. As good as it can be to stay updated in the world so you can keep yourself safe and informed, some stuff on the internet can ruin your life with hackers and others that can very easily manipulate the hypnotized people. At the time, he felt like it was something completely outrageous that could not possibly happen. Although in modern times, that can easily be the case. He used logical sequence that could happen but probably only to a certain few people during his times. To his readers, they feared a world like that. Hypnotized people living like robots staring into a screen with no outside communication.

A URL can distinguish what kind of website you are getting involved in while to others it can appear as just some way to know you are on the right page. The internet is very useful for some people but can be scary for others. While some people put their whole life into the internet including social security, pictures, life updates, credit card information, etc. others fear the internet due to hackers and scammers. 2.0 can be represented as upgraded or "better" dare I say but that is not the case to everyone. My grandma or example says 2.0 can just be a slightly changed version of an item that companies try to make seem way more useful and necessary so they can sell more of that product and make more money. After all, we are a money-hungry world.

Our time leaves rapidly and we can't prevent it. Our time is valuable and yet all we can do is kiss it goodbye as implied through figurative language in the poem. We cannot grasp sand which represents the hourglass. That can symbolize time in our life as in how long we have to live and no matter how much we try to save some, our youth leaves us and comes with complications.

Usually, texting or "dm-ing" is more of an unprofessional yet casual way the modern generation gets ahold of people. Messengers used to be the main source of spreading a message to and from a distant land. Nowadays, people will text each other from a couple feet away. Mail is not the same it used to be. From waiting days to receive one or two thoughts back and forth to now not even having to wait a fraction of a second, communication is way more advanced than ever. Is it efficient and practical to text somebody standing in front of you? Probably not, but it seems the more communication is advancing, the more it is receding.

Today I was thinking about how mindfulness affects our bodies. How does simply breathing and taking a minute to yourself change your entire mood and emotion?

I was wondering if for my blog I should post some art. If there is anyone reading this, feedback will be extremely welcome. I am not too sure on what personal stuff I should be posting, so I came across the idea of posting. Here is something I made Dr.Preston.

I want my posts to convey my feelings as well as be able to show the world and the reader what I am capable of doing despite the typical teenage stereotype. Stereotypes are a big factor in how we live. For example, oftentimes men do not think women are strong enough of doing certain jobs but in reality, some women are even stronger than men. That limits the understanding of younger generations in believing in the power of women. I am not a feminist or anything, just an example, and I am just explaining that both men and women can do the same things.

Throughout all my years of making essays, I have retained little knowledge and information I used in my essays. I personally think that writing an essay is not a very effective way of learning. What I used to do was write information as soon as I read it then I would put the information in order. Basically, I made the information flow in order better and then I change up words to a more sophisticated level of vocabulary. This would make my essays sound like I knew what I was talking about although I was only doing it for the grade. My level of knowledge was based on a book I read which has no contribution to helping me out in the real world. Interesting... 🤨

Knowing your neighbors and peers can be beneficial but at the same time, cons are included in that as well. They can help you out through struggles if you would do the same and they can also just be there to talk you. Sometimes you just need somebody to talk to or quick help with something. On the other hand, if they are scandalous or dramatic then they can cause problems with you and put your life in danger.

“The Mentor” is trying to convey to authority figures that the younger generations have a voice as well. Often times we are thought of as not able to do something because our age. Adults will tell us we do not know what we really want or we can’t actually achieve which we wanted because we are too young. When they need us for something, we are able to do it but when we want it, we do not have the mental or physical strength to do so. Power-tripped adults🙄...they try to control everyone. Maybe they are scared of the possibilities the new generation can occur. Maybe they are scared they will be outsmarted. Maybe they are scared of change. Maybe...

What was the first language and who came up with it? Also, how many languages are there and who created each of them? How were the languages taught to everyone?
